A Blogger's Hope

Blog block. It’s been plaguing me for the last 10, 15 now 25 minutes as I’ve tried to write down something seemingly coherent. But alas the right words have wandered, the flow’s fumbled and the grammar’s gone. Maybe this could be the last hurrah for this blog. As the myspace virus sweeps and as the facebook façade continues, perhaps the age of the blog has all but died! The iridescent ramblings and beautifully crafted blogs replaced by the seemingly never ending pursuit of collecting friends and comments. A picture may speak a thousand words, but only words can drive our infinite imagination.

And all of a sudden the block has lifted.

Hope – you are by far the strangest of feelings. While all other feelings only reflect circumstance and emotions, hope, you live to thrive in the contrary. For some you are only the reason for living and the only reason some are still living. Life stops when hope dies. Hope - may you be as stubborn as ever, may you never leave my side. Give life to my dieing circumstance!

I was actually going to blog about how a lot of my memorable films appeared in the list for the world’s worst films. But perhaps another time on another day.

And just in case you were wondering, this blog won’t be stopping just yet. And no, myspace and facebook aren’t all too bad... really.
